I have used many iterations of this novaalab device. The first was black and thick and prone to the same problems as the products that come from China. The next ones looked like the photo above and featured the same great options for selecting the specific blink pattern and energy output, but the connection between the pad and the cord was still a push and screw connection. And it was very prone to overheating and shorting at that point. Now they have a high tech connection at that point. It does not require any retightening of the connection, and it looks like it will be much more stable than any previous model. I've used my pad for a few months, and so far so good.
