I did my research on Google Scholar, reading many research papers/studies and such there. I developed a list of specifications from the common threads of the research I read, then began to try to find a company producing products that fell within those specifications. I bought 2 pads. I have venous insufficiency.. for 5 years. Wear medical compression stockings. I have tried another company's device and it was older..and hand held. Not too convenient for my needs. In 5 years ..the improvements in different types of sizes...and flat pads??!! Awesome! I looked at many many types for a couple weeks before deciding on Novaalab. WOW is all I can say! My legs will take awhile, I'm sure. I have 78% circulation loss in one leg. I went to a doc 6 weeks ago... they told me 10,000$ for a year...to do infrared in my home. Are you KIDDING? But I must say this....1996 I had surgery for rotator cuff. He said it would last 10 years...well, here it is 24 years later, and I'm noticing the pain....months go by...can't put on my bra....ONE SESSION....ONE with this pad...!!! PAIN GONE...bra goes on like a charm!

I fully intended to wait until I had used the pad for 4 weeks to give an honest review, but my results are pretty amazing. I ordered the pad because of hip and leg pain I was having, bad enough that walking was difficult. I have been using the pad for a little over 2 weeks and my leg pain has improved dramatically. I use the pulse feature for 30 minutes on my back and 30 minutes on my hip each day. My only complaint is that the directions that come with the unit could be more detailed. I had to stumble along in figuring out how to connect it. Overall, a great product!

I received my Novaa Light Pad about 10 days ago and have been using it for at least 20 minutes, two times per day, but sometimes when time allows, even more. I have suffered from lower back pain from 3 bulging discs for almost a year now. I’ve been in physical therapy, using lots of pain relief medications, swimming and walking regularly, and am otherwise in very good physical condition. This has been the ONLY thing that gives me relief from constant pain. I use it laying on my side on my bed and the comforting heat radiates into my lower back and takes away all symptoms of pain. I’m surprised because the pad itself only becomes warm from my body heat, but the heat it generates deep inside is way beyond what a heating pad can do. I highly recommend this at this point. I am hopeful that with consistent use, it may be a permanent remedy for my pain as in between each use, my pain does return at this time. Even though the pain returns, I am comforted to know that I have a drug-free mechanism for temporary pain relief.
